Want to improve your sleep? Try some of these proven habits.

Limit your screen time.

Do - Get off your screens at least an hour before you go to bed

Don’t - sleep with screens near your bed, put your phone in another room

Do - If you must be on screens, where blue light glasses

Watch what and when you eat.

Don’t - eat a heavy meal late in the evening. Eating earlier means that your digestion isn’t working hard at night when you’re trying to sleep.

Don’t - Alcohol may relax you and help you fall asleep, but it doesn’t help you stay asleep. Don’t drink too close to bedtime.

Do - eat a variety of whole foods, get enough protein and avoid sugar

Don’t - drink caffeine late in the day
